The Great American Six-Month Road Trip!

OK, First the rules.... I'm not going to tell you who I'm working for, and I'm not going to tell you who the client is.... so dont even bother asking. PERIOD. End of Discussion.

Second, I need to bring everyone up to speed with the goings on of the trip so far....
Ok, this past monday the the road trip started and as usual with this company I'm working for, it was a mess. I left Houston and started on my way to Nashville... I get to this little town in the middle of nowhere up near Texarkana called Domino and I call in to Tracey (my boss, pretty much... the actual corporate structure is a bit vague but I'm pretty sure that she's my boss...although with this company, who knows?). Tracey is in a panic because she hasnt been able to get in touch with me.... (My cellphone provider is "Cricket", and while they have one of the best plans going when it comes to things in their calling areas, once you leave their coverage areas your pretty much screwed.... which of course makes it not the best plan to have on a road trip...)
Long story short, they needed me to abort the trip to Nashville and head ASAP to Dallas. So of course, I turned my happy butt around and made my way there.
ok...just to be brief since I'm condensing about a week of drama into a single post, my engine pretty much blew up. Seriously.
And there was much weeping in the land.
Alot more drama insued, and I end up getting a new engine installed in the beast (photos will follow soon). (Thanks to the people at LoneStar Engines (lonestarengines.com) for doing what so far looks great job.... If its still working when this road trip is over I'll officially declare them the engine gods....

now with this weeks schedule completed in dallas I'm preparing to head up to Amarillo in the morning.. one long haul...
I've been p[lanning on starting a blog all week but I've been too busy being a stress-monkey. now hopefully I'll be able to relax and stat enjoying this trip.
